Who approves the quote when the machine belongs to the company?

Whoever you name at booking. We send the written quote to that person and wait for their approval before any repair starts. If purchasing needs the quote in a particular form, tell us when you book.

Do you also collect home machines in Westborough and Brisbane?

Yes. Homes west of the freeway, from Westborough to Winston Manor, and in Brisbane are inside our pickup area. A home ECM follows the same path: bench diagnosis, written quote, repair after approval, and return.

People leave the steam knob half closed, bang the portafilter against the group, fill the tank with whatever water is nearest and walk away from a full drip tray. The machine absorbs all of it. In a shared machine, handling causes as much wear as age.

We collect from the campuses and office parks, from the post-war homes west of the freeway in Winston Manor, Sunshine Gardens and Westborough, and from Brisbane. On our bench the machine gets a full check of the group, valves, pump and heating, and the written quote separates normal wear from damage. The repair waits for approval from whoever looks after the machine.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Drip tray overflow reaching the wiring. A tray left to overflow sends water under the machine and, on some layouts, toward the electrical parts. We dry the case, check the connections and the controller for water damage, and replace anything that has corroded.
Steam knob cranked shut until it leaks. Different hands close the knob with different force. Cranking it down crushes the seal against the seat, and the valve starts to drip anyway. We rebuild the valve and set it so it closes with a light turn.
Bent portafilter ears or a chipped group. Knocking the portafilter against the group or the counter bends its locking ears and wears the group lugs. The handle then seals at an odd angle or leaks. We check the portafilter and the group together and replace the worn parts.
