What we repair on the bench.

Shots slowing down with the same grind and dose. A clogged shower screen or a restricted jet in the water path cuts flow at the group. We pull the screen, measure flow at the group without a basket, and descale or clear the restriction. If flow is still low after that, we move on to the pump.
Steam wand tip blocked with dried milk. Milk dries in the tip holes when the wand is not purged and wiped after each drink, and the steam turns weak and uneven. We clear the tip and test the steam valve behind it, since a worn valve gives the same symptom.
Boiler slow to recover between drinks. Scale on the element and an element losing output both stretch recovery time, and a run of back-to-back drinks shows it first. We measure the element, inspect the boiler for scale, and descale or replace based on what we find.
