What we repair on the bench.

Shots running fast even at a finer grind. When a finer grind no longer slows the shot, the shower screen may be clogged unevenly or the gasket may be letting water bypass the puck. We clean the group, replace the screen and gasket, and pull test shots.
Steam wand with weak, wet steam. Wet steam can come from an overfilled boiler, a pressurestat set too low or a partly blocked wand. We check the level sensor and pressure setting first, then clear or replace the wand tip and valve seals.
Water collecting under the machine. A leak can come from the tank connection, a cracked hose, the drain line or a seal inside. We run the machine with the covers off, trace the water to its source, and replace that part rather than a whole kit.
