Temperature controller losing its settings. A display that resets, reads wrong, or loses the set temperature on a hot afternoon can be the controller, its sensor or a weak power supply. We test each one under heat and replace the part that fails.
Heating relay sticking closed. A relay that sticks keeps the element on, so the boiler overheats and the safety cutout trips. We replace the relay, reset or replace the cutout, and confirm the controller now switches the element on and off as it should.
Thermal cutout tripping for no clear reason. A cutout that keeps tripping is a symptom, not the fault. Replacing only the cutout leaves the cause in place. We look for a failing controller, an element problem or scale insulating the sensor before we fit a new cutout.
