Boiler pressure sitting high with the machine idle. When the machine rests at a higher pressure than it used to, the part that should cut the element is late or stuck. We compare the reading with a test gauge, replace the pressure switch or relay, and confirm the heat cuts at the right point.
Case and cup tray hotter than normal. Extra heat in the panels usually follows a boiler running above its setting, and it bakes the wiring and seals inside. We fix the control fault first, then check the wiring and gaskets that have been cooking.
Steam bursting out wet and violent. Overheated boiler water flashes to steam the moment the valve opens and carries water with it. Once the control fault is fixed, we check the level control too, since an overfilled boiler adds to the spitting.
