Yearly group gasket and shower screen change. The gasket hardens with heat whether the machine is used a lot or a little. We change it and the screen together, clean the group and the dispersion block behind it, and grease the lever cam while the group is open.
Valve seals replaced before they drip. Steam and hot-water valve seals wear slowly and then start to drip. On a planned service we fit new seals and check the seats, so the valves close gently for another stretch instead of failing between services.
Boiler scale check and descale. We open the boiler, check the element and the level probe, and descale if the build-up calls for it. You get a note on how quickly scale is forming, which tells you whether your water filter is doing its job.
