Boiler gauge stuck at zero with the machine hot. The gauge reads through a thin tube from the boiler. Scale can block that tube, and the needle then sits at zero while the boiler is at full pressure. We clear or replace the tube and the gauge, then check the reading against a reference gauge.
Tank filter starving the pump. A filter cartridge in the tank that is past its life, or not pushed fully onto its fitting, can starve the pump or let it draw air. We check the cartridge and the intake, replace whatever is spent or damaged, and test pump output with the tank full.
Boiler overfilling on very pure water. The boiler level probe works by conducting through the water. Water with almost no minerals, such as distilled or some reverse osmosis water, may not conduct well enough, and the boiler overfills. We test the probe with water like yours and suggest a filter that leaves enough mineral in.
