What breaks. What we fix.
Rocket owners usually call when the machine still turns on but no longer behaves the same way twice. Heat takes longer, pressure changes between shots, a valve begins to drip, or the pump sounds different under load. Those symptoms need time and repeated cycles. We pick the machine up and reproduce the fault on a bench instead of making a quick guess in the kitchen.
We start with the exact model and the owner’s description, then follow the water path, heat controls, pump, valves, seals, wiring, and controls that apply to that machine. The goal is a narrow diagnosis and a written quote. If scale and a wear part caused the problem, we say that. If an electrical part fails only after the machine is hot, we keep testing until it shows itself.
Deposit, timing, and warranty
The Rocket bench deposit is $200. It covers pickup, diagnosis, and return and does not go toward the repair. Standard bench time is $150 per hour. We stop after diagnosis, send the quote, and wait for approval before continuing.
Diagnostics can take up to a week; most repairs run 3–4 weeks. That is exactly why we recommend preventive maintenance. A planned descale and seal check gives you control of the downtime.
