Commercial first, home machines included

Most of this work is commercial: cafe espresso machines, office super-automatics, and equipment that has to repeat the same drink all day. We also take eligible home machines, including every Breville model. The common thread is the process. We bring the equipment to a bench where it can be opened, heated, cycled, and watched long enough to find the fault.

We do not accept Keurig, Cuisinart, drip coffee makers, or household Nespresso capsule machines. Nespresso Professional equipment is accepted.

The bench deposit

The deposit covers pickup, bench diagnosis, and return. It does not reduce the approved repair bill.

• $150: Breville (any model), DeLonghi, Gaggia, Rancilio, Lelit, Rocket, ECM, and Profitec.
• $175: Jura and Miele super-automatics, and home La Marzocco machines.
• $250–$550: commercial La Marzocco equipment.

Bench time is $150 per hour for standard equipment and $175 per hour for Jura, La Marzocco, and Miele. After diagnosis, you get the findings and a written quote. We do not order parts or continue into the repair without approval.

What happens on the bench

We reproduce the symptom, inspect the water and electrical paths, and test the machine through repeated cycles. Leaks, low pressure, heat faults, grinder trouble, milk-system faults, valves, sensors, and control problems each leave a different trail. Bench testing gives us room to follow it instead of guessing during a short visit.

Diagnostics can take up to a week; most repairs run 3–4 weeks. That is exactly why we recommend preventive maintenance. Planned descaling and wear-part service reduce the chance that the machine fails when it is needed most.

Repair parts are covered for 6 months; consumables are covered for 90 days. Pickup covers our 56 Bay Area cities plus San Francisco for coffee equipment.
