Profitec repair starts with what changed. Maybe the machine heats but the group has weak flow. Maybe pressure falls only while brewing, water appears under the case, or a control cuts out after warm-up. Those clues tell us where to begin, but they are not a quote. We need the machine running on the bench to separate a water-path fault from a heat or electrical fault.

We test from a cold start, repeat brew and steam cycles, and inspect the machine while it is hot and pressurized. Pumps, valves, heating controls, seals, sensors, wiring, and scale can produce similar symptoms from the outside. Once the failed system is clear, we send the findings and the repair price before ordering parts.

Pickup instead of a rushed visit

Profitec equipment carries a $150 deposit for pickup, bench diagnosis, and return. The deposit does not go toward the repair. Bench time is $150 per hour, with approval required before work continues beyond diagnosis.

Diagnostics can take up to a week; most repairs run 3–4 weeks. That is exactly why we recommend preventive maintenance. Planned bench time is easier to live with than a machine that chooses its own failure date.

Repair parts have 6 months of coverage; consumables have 90 days. Coffee-equipment pickup covers our 56 Bay Area cities plus San Francisco.
