What we do

The cheapest espresso repair is the one you never need. Hard Bay Area water lays scale in the boiler and the group every day a machine runs, and scale is what eventually clogs the gicleur, coats the element, and seizes a valve. A machine on a maintenance schedule does not surprise you at the morning rush. We run preventive maintenance on cafe espresso machines and office bean-to-cup units, both platforms, on a schedule that fits how hard you run.

This is recurring, documented service, not a one-time fix. We work the electrical and water-line side under CSLB #1136642, and we leave you a record of what was done and what is coming due.

What a maintenance visit covers

Descaling. Boiler, heat exchanger, and group, flushed and descaled to the interval your water and volume call for. On bean-to-cup machines we run the descale and clean cycles and verify them, not just trigger the light.

Gaskets and seals. Group-head gaskets, shower screens, steam-wand and brew-valve seals, and on automatics the brew-unit gaskets. These are scheduled wear. Replacing them on a visit is a fraction of the cost of the leak they turn into.

Water treatment. This is the one that pays for itself. We check and service your filtration and softener, or get one installed if the machine was plumbed straight to the tap. Good water is the single biggest thing standing between you and a boiler rebuild.

Grinder and milk system. Burr wear and calibration on the grinder, and on bean-to-cup machines the milk lines, valves, and foam system cleaned and checked. A worn burr and a fouled milk path show up in the cup before they show up as a fault.

Full function check. Brew pressure, steam, temperature stability, and flow, read and logged so a drift gets caught before it becomes a no-brew morning.

Why put it on a schedule

A breakdown costs you the repair, the lost sales while the line is dead, and sometimes a boiler or group that scale finally killed. A maintenance plan trades that for a known, smaller number you can budget. For a cafe pulling hundreds of shots a day, the math is not close.
