Maintenance needs bench time

Scale and worn seals build slowly. The first clue may be a longer heat-up, a small drip at the group, weaker steam, or a grinder that no longer repeats the same dose. Waiting for a hard fault turns a planned service into a closed counter.

We pick up the machine, run the maintenance on our bench, document what we find, and return it. That gives us time to heat it from cold, cycle every function, open the panels, and verify the result after the work. It also keeps a descale or a leak test out of your customer area.

What we service

The scope follows the machine and its use. It can include descaling the water path, cleaning the brew circuit, replacing scheduled seals and consumables, checking pumps and valves, cleaning a milk circuit, checking grinder operation, and running repeated brew and steam cycles. If we find a repair outside the approved maintenance scope, we stop and quote it first.

Deposit and timing

The deposit pays for pickup, bench diagnosis, and return; it is not credited toward later repair work. Deposits are $150 for Breville (any model), DeLonghi, Gaggia, Rancilio, Lelit, Rocket, ECM, and Profitec; $175 for Jura and Miele super-automatics and home La Marzocco machines; and $250–$550 for commercial La Marzocco equipment.

Bench time is $150 per hour, or $175 per hour for Jura, La Marzocco, and Miele. Diagnostics can take up to a week; most repairs run 3–4 weeks. That is exactly why we recommend preventive maintenance: it lets you choose the service window before the machine chooses it for you.

Coffee-equipment pickup covers our 56 Bay Area cities plus San Francisco. Parts installed during service are covered for 6 months; consumables are covered for 90 days.
