The machine heats more slowly and the element runs hotter than it should. We open the boiler, remove the scale, test the element, and replace it if the sheath is damaged.
Rapid clicking from inside the case. A relay or pressure switch that chatters instead of clicking once has worn contacts or an unsteady signal driving it. Chatter heats and pits the contacts further, along with the connectors around them. We replace the switch or relay and inspect the wiring it feeds.
Pump laboring or gurgling as a shot begins. A pump that gurgles before settling into its usual note is drawing air through a loose intake hose, a cracked fitting or a low tank. We trace the leak on the suction side, replace the hose or fitting, and confirm a steady note from the first second.
