Machine tipped over with water inside. Water that ran into the case can sit on the controller, the switch or the element terminals, and switching it on wet risks a short. We open the case, dry it, test the insulation of every heated part, and replace anything that fails before the machine is powered up.
Cracked gauge glass or a bent needle. Gauges take the knocks in a move. A cracked face lets steam and moisture in, and the needle fogs or sticks. We replace the gauge and check it against a reference, so what you read matches what the boiler is doing.
Steam wand knocked out of line during packing. A wand caught during packing can bend or twist at its joint, and the seals there start to leak. We straighten or replace the wand, fit new seals, and test it under full steam pressure.
