Rocket Espresso in San Leandro
Rocket Espresso in San Leandro kitchens.
A household that makes lattes and cappuccinos every morning puts most of the wear on the steam side of a Rocket. Every pitcher drops the boiler level, the pump and fill valve replace the water, and the steam valve opens and closes under full pressure. Milk that dries in the wand tip narrows its holes. Over time the steam turns wetter and weaker.
We collect from the mid-century ranch and bungalow streets of Estudillo, Broadmoor, Washington Manor and Floresta, and from the remodeled homes in Bal and Estudillo Estates. On our bench we steam repeatedly, time each refill, and check the wand, the steam valve and the fill circuit. A written quote comes before any part is replaced.
$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. The deposit is not credited toward the repair. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. 6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Wand tip holes narrowed by dried milk. Milk that dries inside the tip narrows the holes and changes the steam pattern. Soaking helps early on, but baked-on milk needs the tip removed and cleaned properly. We clean or replace the tip and check the wand tube for residue further up.
- Fill valve worn by constant refills. Heavy steaming means the boiler refills many times a day. The fill valve seat wears or scales and starts to stick open or shut. We run the valve through repeated cycles and replace it if it opens slowly or fails to seal.
- Steam turning wet halfway through a pitcher. Wet steam can come from a boiler overfilled by a sticking fill valve or a scaled level probe, or from pressure that sinks too low while you steam. We check the level control and the boiler pressure under load and fix whichever is off.

FAQ
Rocket Espresso in San Leandro questions, answered.
-
Why does our steam get wetter toward the end of the second latte?
Drawing steam lowers boiler pressure, and the refill brings in cold water at the same time. A healthy machine recovers. A tired element, a pressure switch set low or an overfilling boiler does not. If the second pitcher is clearly worse than it used to be, have the machine tested. -
How should we clean the steam wand after each drink?
Wipe it with a damp cloth straight after steaming and give a short purge to clear milk from inside the tip. Once a week, take the tip off if your model allows it and soak it. That keeps the holes open and the wand tube clean. -
Do you collect from Floresta and the Bal neighborhood?
Yes. Floresta, Bal, Estudillo, Broadmoor and Washington Manor are all in the pickup area, across 94577, 94578 and 94579. Switch the machine off early enough to be cold, and tell us how many milk drinks it makes on a normal morning. -
What does the Rocket Espresso pickup deposit cover?
$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. The deposit is not credited toward the repair. Repair work is quoted separately. -
How long does Rocket Espresso bench repair take?

What warranty applies to Rocket Espresso coffee-machine repair?
