What we repair on the bench.

Weak steam with a normal boiler gauge. If the gauge sits where it should but the steam is feeble, the restriction is downstream. Dried milk in the tip holes and scale in the valve are the common causes. We clear or replace the tip, rebuild the valve, and time how long a set amount of milk takes to heat.
Boiler gauge reading low all the time. A low reading can be a real pressure problem or a tired gauge. We fit a reference gauge to find out which. If the pressure really is low, we look at the pressurestat or controller setting and the element. If the gauge is wrong, we replace it.
Milk drawn back up into the steam wand. If the wand is left in the jug as the boiler cools, a vacuum can pull milk back up the wand and into the valve. It sours there and blocks the flow. We strip and clean the wand and the valve and show you the purge habit that prevents it.
