What we repair on the bench.

Scale packed around the heating element. Scale builds on the element and the boiler walls with every tank of water. It insulates the element, slows heating, and can flake off into the valves. When a descaling run is no longer enough, we take the boiler out, clean it by hand, and inspect the element and fittings before it goes back in.
Seals that have hardened all at once. A machine that has run for years without a service wears its seals together: the group gasket, the steam and hot water valve seals, the small seals inside the group. Fix one leak and another appears soon after. We replace them as a set during an overhaul so the machine starts a fresh service interval.
Brew flow that has slowly dropped. When shots take longer than they used to with the same coffee and grind, the water path may be narrowing. Scale in the dispersion block, a partly blocked restrictor or a tired pump can each cut the flow. We measure flow at the group with no coffee in the basket, then work back until we find the restriction.
