So when a machine trips a breaker, we separate the house from the machine first. Try it alone on another circuit. If it still trips, send it to us: we collect it, test the heating element and wiring for leakage to the frame, and run it through full heat cycles on our bench. You get the findings and a repair price in writing before any part is ordered.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Breaker or outlet that trips as the boiler heats. A heating element whose insulation has broken down leaks current to the frame. The machine may run for a while and then trip the protected outlet or the breaker as the element gets hot. We measure the element's resistance to ground both cold and hot, and replace it if it fails.
Safety thermostat that keeps cutting out. The safety thermostat on the boiler opens when something overheats. If it trips over and over, the thermostat itself may be tired, or the boiler is running hotter than it should because a controller or relay has stuck on. We test the controller, the relay and the cutout together.
Scorched connectors near the boiler. Heat around the boiler slowly cooks spade connectors and wire insulation. A loose or browned connector can make the machine cut out, flicker, or heat unevenly. We inspect every connection near the boiler and element, replace damaged ones with heat-rated parts, and check the rest of the wiring while the case is open.
