Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Rotary pump motor that hums but does not turn. Many rotary pump motors rely on a capacitor to start, and the pump head itself can seize with scale after a long idle stretch. Either fault leaves the motor humming with no flow. We test the capacitor, free or replace the pump head, and measure pressure and flow before closing the case.
Power switch or lamp that works only now and then. Main switches and indicator lamps carry current through every heat cycle and eventually wear out. A switch that has to be jiggled, or a lamp that flickers while the machine heats, can hide a loose connection behind it. We replace the switch or lamp and tighten or renew the terminals feeding it.
Internal hoses that have hardened or cracked. The flexible lines inside the case run hot for years and slowly lose their give. A hardened line can crack at a fitting and seep water onto the frame, sometimes near wiring. We inspect every line during the bench work and replace any that are stiff, discolored or damp at the ends.
