Jura in Vallejo
Jura commercial service.
Vallejo's water comes from Lake Berryessa and the State Water Project, and by the usual scale it is hard. A Jura heats that water in a thermoblock many times a day, and every cycle leaves a little mineral behind. The first sign is rarely a dead machine. It is a cup that pours short, a flow meter error on the display, or a heater that takes longer to come up in the morning.
We collect the machine from your office or counter, whether it sits downtown, in Glen Cove, out at Hiddenbrooke or on Mare Island, and take it to our bench. There it runs through its programs while we watch pressure, volume and temperature. Nothing gets replaced before you approve a written quote, and the machine goes back descaled and pouring the volume it was set for. CSLB #1136642.

Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Scaled thermoblock heater slow to reach temperature. Hard water coats the inside of the thermoblock until it struggles to heat on time. The heating message stays up longer than it should, or the coffee comes out lukewarm. We descale the full water circuit, measure the heater, and replace it only when it reads open or keeps cutting out under load.
- Flow meter errors and short pours. The flow meter counts water on its way to the brew unit. Scale on its small impeller throws the count off, so an X8 or a GIGA stops mid-cup or reports a volume fault. We clean or replace the meter and pour test cups on every button until each one lands on its setting.
- Ceramic valve weeping into the drip tray. Jura's ceramic valves route water between coffee, hot water and rinse. Mineral grit scratches the ceramic discs, and a valve that no longer seals sends water into the tray when the machine should be idle. We replace the valve, then run rinse and hot water programs and watch the tray stay dry.

FAQ
Jura in Vallejo questions, answered.
-
How hard is Vallejo tap water on a Jura without a filter?
Hard enough that scale becomes the main wear item. An unfiltered plumbed machine here collects mineral in the heater, the ceramic valves and the flow meter much sooner than one on softer water. A filter sized to your daily cup count, changed on schedule, does more for the machine than any single repair. -
Can you collect a GIGA X3 from an office on Mare Island?
Yes. Mare Island is inside our pickup area, along with downtown, South Vallejo, Glen Cove and Hiddenbrooke. Tell us where the machine sits and how it connects to water, and we plan the pickup around your office hours. -
Our WE8 pours watery coffee. Is it the grinder or the brew unit?
It can be either. Worn ceramic burrs grind too coarse, and a brew unit with hardened gaskets lets water slip around the coffee instead of through it. On the bench we check the grind, weigh the dose and look at the puck the machine ejects. A soggy, loose puck points at the brew unit; a coarse grind points at the burrs. -
What does the Jura pickup deposit cover?
$175 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. The deposit is not credited toward the repair. Repair work is quoted separately. -
How long does Jura bench repair take?

What warranty applies to Jura coffee-machine repair?
