Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Descaling and thermoblock heater service. Livermore water is hard, so the thermoblock scales and brew temperature slips. We descale the heater and full water path and recommend filtration so the scale does not come right back.
- Brew unit gasket and seal work. Steady tasting-room volume wears the automatic brew unit. We replace gaskets and seals and clean the piston so the Jura stops leaking and ejecting wet, broken pucks.
- Ceramic grinder burr inspection. A Jura that grinds rough or stalls needs the ceramic burrs checked. We clear oil buildup, gauge burr wear, and reset the grind for a clean extraction on the GIGA or X8.
- Ceramic valve and flow meter repair. Scale crusts the ceramic drainage valves and clogs the flow meter, which shows up as water errors and slow fills. We clear or replace both to get flow and dosing back to spec.
