What we repair on the bench.

Brew unit overhaul. High-volume Lafayette machines wear the brew unit quickly. We strip it, swap the gaskets and seals, and free up a sticking piston so pucks eject clean instead of jamming the unit.
Descaling and ceramic valve service. Scale builds on the thermoblock and ceramic valves and slows water flow. We run a full descale of the heater and lines and replace ceramic valves that have crusted or started leaking.
Ceramic grinder calibration. When shots run fast and thin, the ceramic burrs need attention. We clean out bean oil, check burr wear, and re-dial the grind so a GIGA or WE8 brews at the right strength again.
Pump and flow meter repair. Water errors and weak extraction on a Lafayette Jura usually trace to a clogged flow meter or worn pump. We clear the flow path and rebuild or replace the pump to bring pressure back.
