Jura in Pinole
Jura commercial service.
A Jura in a busy break room pours one cup after another through a whole shift, and the pump does the heavy lifting every time. When the pump wears, pressure falls, coffee runs slow and pale, and the machine may stop with a volume error because water never reaches the flow meter at the rate it expects.
Pinole is on EBMUD water, soft to moderate, so the wear on these machines tends to be mechanical before it is mineral. We collect from Old Town, Pinole Valley, Linda Heights and the retail stretch along Fitzgerald Drive, then test the machine on our bench with a gauge on the brew circuit. A written quote comes before any part goes in. CSLB #1136642.
$175 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. The deposit is not credited toward the repair. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. 6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Worn pump that hums but barely pours. A tired pump gets louder while it delivers less. Coffee drips instead of flowing and the crema thins. We measure pressure against spec and replace the pump when it can no longer hold it. We also check what may have worn it early, such as a kinked supply hose or a clogged inlet.
- Machine that trips the breaker when it heats. If the outlet or the breaker trips as soon as the machine starts heating, the thermoblock heater may be leaking current to its housing. We test the heater's insulation, replace it if it fails, and check the wiring and fuse along the way. It does not go back on your counter until it tests clean.
- Grounds backing up in the drain path. Fine grounds and old coffee oil collect where rinse water leaves the brew unit. Once that path narrows, water pools inside the machine and the tray fills sooner than it should. We open the drain path, clean around the brew unit, and run rinse cycles until the water leaves where it is supposed to.

FAQ
Jura in Pinole questions, answered.
-
Our Pinole office Jura got loud and slow at the same time. Is it the pump?
Often, but not always. A pump that sounds harsh while pouring less is usually wearing out. A blocked inlet or a scaled flow path can make a good pump struggle the same way. We measure pressure and flow on the bench first, so you are not paying for a pump when a hose was the real problem. -
Can you collect a GIGA from a store along Fitzgerald Drive?
Yes. Fitzgerald Drive, Old Town, Pinole Valley, Nob Hill, Bay Side and Pinole on the Hill are all in our pickup area. We can time the pickup around your opening hours so the counter is not torn apart mid-morning. -
Does EBMUD water mean our Pinole machine can skip descaling?
No. Soft to moderate water slows scale; it does not stop it. Run the descale program when the machine asks, and the heater and the ceramic valves stay in good shape much longer. -
What does the Jura pickup deposit cover?
$175 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. The deposit is not credited toward the repair. Repair work is quoted separately. -
How long does Jura bench repair take?
Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. -
What warranty applies to Jura coffee-machine repair?
6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
