A blown fuse, a failed power switch or a loose connection inside the housing can look exactly like a dead control board, and each of those costs far less to put right.

Rodeo and Crockett are on EBMUD water, soft to moderate, while Port Costa gets treated water from the Contra Costa Water District. We pick up in all three, from Bayo Vista to the shoreline, and put the machine on our bench, where we test the power path step by step before we price anything. The written quote comes first. Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Machine dead with no lights at all. We start at the cord and the power switch, then check the fuse and the connections on the way to the control board. A board gets replaced only when power reaches it and it still does nothing. That order keeps a small fault from turning into an expensive one.
Water under the machine from an internal fitting. Water runs through small plastic hoses and push-fit connectors inside the housing. When one cracks, water can reach the base or the electronics. We open the case, trace the leak along the water line, and replace the connector and any hose that has gone brittle.
Machine that sat unused and now will not prime. A Jura left off for weeks can lose its prime, and dried coffee or scale may lock a valve or the brew unit in place. We free the stuck parts, prime the system, and run each program before calling the machine done.
