A WE8 in an office or a GIGA X3 behind a village counter pulls real daily volume, and Santa Clara Valley water scales them on schedule.

From San Ramon we reach Los Altos in about 45 to 50 minutes down the 680 and 280. Plumbed machines here live and die on water quality, so descaling and a good filter usually come up after the first service.

What we repair on the bench.

Brew unit overhaul. Downtown Los Altos machines cycle hard, and the brew unit shows it. We replace gaskets and seals and free the piston so the unit ejects clean pucks instead of jamming mid-rush.
Descaling and water filtration. Valley water scales the thermoblock and ceramic valves fast. We descale the full water path and set up filtration so a village cafe Jura is not back on the bench in a month.
Ceramic grinder calibration. Thin, fast shots mean the ceramic burrs need work. We clear oil buildup, check burr wear, and re-dial the grind so the GIGA or WE8 brews at proper strength.
Pump and flow meter repair. Weak extraction or water errors point to a worn pump or clogged flow meter. We clear the flow path and rebuild or replace the pump to restore brewing pressure.
