We service Jura super-automatic machines for the cafes, taprooms, and office kitchens around Marina Bay and the Richmond waterfront, plus the shops along Macdonald Avenue downtown in 94801, 94804, and 94805. Richmond is about a 30 to 35 minute run from our San Ramon shop up I-680 and across the bridge. Most calls here are hard-water descaling and brew-unit service. The municipal supply leaves scale fast on a plumbed machine, so the GIGA and X-line boilers need regular attention to stay in spec.

Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Brew unit wear and gaskets. The brew unit is the part that cycles every shot, so seals and gaskets wear first on a busy WE8 or X8. We rebuild the unit, swap worn gaskets, and reset the brew action so pucks eject clean.
- Descaling and thermoblock service. Richmond water scales the thermoblock and ceramic valves quick. We run a full descale, check the heater, and flag where a water filter on the line would slow the buildup.
- Ceramic grinder burrs. Jura's ceramic grinder dulls or jams when grounds pack in. We pull the grinder, clean or replace the burrs, and reset grind so dosing is consistent again.
- Drainage and ceramic valve faults. Water pooling under the machine or weak flow usually traces to the ceramic valve or a clogged drain path. We clear it, test the flow meter, and confirm the drip tray drains right.
