Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Descaling and thermoblock. Hayward's hard water scales the thermoblock and slows or stops the brew. We run a full descale, check heat-up and flow, and fit a water filter so it does not return fast.
Brew unit gaskets. A downtown cafe X8 leaks into the tray once the brew-unit seals age. We replace the gaskets or the unit and clear the maintenance count.
Ceramic valves and drainage. Scale and grounds block the ceramic valves and drain line, leaving water in the tray or a stalled cycle. We clear the valve and drainage path and test it.
Ceramic grinder burrs. Steady restaurant and cafe use dulls the ceramic burrs and the dose drops. We regrind or replace the burrs and reset the grind for a full shot.
