We service Slayer machines for the coffee shops along Murphy Avenue downtown and the cafes feeding the tech offices off Mathilda and the 94085 industrial blocks. Sunnyvale runs on espresso all day, and a Slayer that drops flow profiling or stops pulling shots takes a serious bite out of a busy morning.

From our San Ramon base it is about 45 minutes down 680 to 880 into Sunnyvale, longer in commute traffic. We cover 94085, 94086, and 94087, including the cafes near the Caltrain station and the lighter-roast spots near Washington Park. Plumbed machines here see hard water, so scale shows up in the boiler and valves faster than owners expect.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Brew needle valve and actuator. The needle valve is what makes a Slayer a Slayer, and scale or a worn actuator kills the flow profile mid-shot. We clean or rebuild the valve and actuator so pre-brew control comes back.
Group seals and gaskets. Leaking or chattering groups on a Slayer Espresso 2 or 3 group usually trace to hardened seals. We replace group gaskets and seals and reset the group so shots lock in clean.
Boiler element and probe, descaling. Sunnyvale water scales boilers fast. We pull and test the element and probe, descale the boiler, and fit or recommend water filtration so the next failure is further out.
Brew and steam solenoids. A solenoid that sticks open or closed shows up as no flow, weak steam, or a group that won't release. We test and swap brew and steam solenoids and verify steam EP, LP, or X wand behavior.
