Slayer in Hayward

Slayer commercial service.

Hayward's coffee runs through the downtown B Street and Foothill cafes and the shops strung along Mission Boulevard, with more out toward the South Hayward and 94544 blocks. The Slayer machines we service here sit in independent espresso bars and a few college-adjacent shops near Cal State East Bay, all plumbed into city water that scales a boiler if the filtration is not kept up.

From San Ramon it is roughly 30 to 40 minutes via 680 to 238 into the 94541 area.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Descaling and filtration. Hayward city water scales the brew boiler when filtration lags. We descale the machine and the brew path and set up filtration sized to the supply.
Brew and steam solenoids. When a group won't dose or steam won't shut off, the solenoid is the culprit. We test and replace the brew or steam solenoid and check the timing.
Needle valve flow profiling. The Slayer ramp depends on a clean needle valve. If pre-infusion goes weak, we clean or rebuild the valve and actuator to restore the profile.
Control board and probe diagnosis. Erratic behavior or a heat fault points to the control board or boiler probe. We diagnose both, and source the board through Slayer when it needs replacing.
