Los Gatos keeps its coffee in the downtown core along North Santa Cruz Avenue and around Old Town, where the specialty cafes run Slayer machines through a steady weekend and tourist trade. Across 95030, 95032, and 95033 these shops stay busy, and the climb up toward the Santa Cruz Mountains brings its own water quirks.

From San Ramon it is about 50 to 55 minutes south to reach downtown Los Gatos. We test the machine on its line, find the fault, and write the quote before any tool comes out. Scale on the local supply is the usual culprit, so we check it every call.

What we repair on the bench.

Pump and pressure. Weekend volume exposes a weak rotary pump fast. We check pump output and the inlet line and fix surging or low pressure at the source.
Needle valve flow profiling. When the Slayer no longer profiles the way the barista set it, we rebuild the brew needle valve and actuator and reset the travel.
Descaling and water filtration. Water feeding 95030 and the hill ZIPs leaves scale in the boiler and valves. We descale the brew path and set up or replace the inline filter.
Control board and boiler probe. Erratic temperature or controls that drop out point to a board or level probe fault. We test both and replace what has failed.
