We route Foster City through our Peninsula technician, based in San Mateo County, rather than a truck driving the whole way up from San Ramon. That helps us offer a practical arrival window; repair timing is confirmed after diagnosis.

What we repair on the bench.

Group seals and gaskets. Even a steady, moderate-volume cafe wears down group gaskets over a few months of daily use. We replace the seals so the portafilter locks tight and the group stops weeping.
Steam solenoid and probe. A condo-and-townhome crowd leans on milk drinks through the morning, and the steam solenoid is usually the first thing to stick from that repeated cycling. We clear the valve and test the probe so steam pressure comes back steady.
Descaling and water filtration. The lagoons don't scale a boiler on their own, but the water supply still will over time without a working filter. We check the cartridge and descale the boiler on schedule so the solenoids and needle valve don't inherit the problem.
