We service Slayer espresso machines for the coffee shops around downtown Martinez, along Main Street and Ferry Street near the old train depot and the marina. Most of the cafes here run one or two group machines, and the 94553 water is hard enough that scale shows up in the boiler and brew valves faster than owners expect.

San Ramon is about 20 minutes out over Alhambra Valley, so we get to Martinez quickly when a machine goes down. We are an independent shop, not factory authorized for Slayer, and we give you a written quote before we touch anything.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Brew needle valve and actuator. The needle valve is what makes a Slayer a Slayer, and it sticks or leaks once scale builds up on a plumbed line. We clean or rebuild the valve and actuator so flow profiling responds the way the barista expects.
Group seals and gaskets. Worn group gaskets cause squirting around the portafilter and channeling in the shot. We replace seals and gaskets and check the group for scale at the same time.
Boiler element and probe. Hard Martinez water scales the element and fouls the probe, so temperature wanders or the boiler stops heating. We test the element and probe, descale, and talk water filtration so it does not come back.
Brew and steam solenoids. A solenoid that buzzes or will not seat leaves you with no shot or a steam wand that keeps dripping. We rebuild or swap the brew and steam solenoids and clear scale from the lines.
