Slayer in Newark

Slayer commercial service.

Newark runs its Slayer machines in the cafes around NewPark Mall and the commercial strips along Mowry and Cedar in 94560. A lot of these sit in shopping centers and food courts on shared plumbing, and the hard local water means scale in the boiler and brew valves is the most common reason we get called.

From San Ramon we reach Newark in about 25 to 30 minutes down 680 to 84. We service Slayer as an independent shop, not factory authorized, and we give you a written quote before any work.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Brew needle valve and actuator. Scale off a plumbed line in 94560 sticks the needle valve and ruins flow profiling. We clean or rebuild the valve and actuator so the shot behaves again.
Boiler element, probe, and descaling. Hard Newark water scales the element and fouls the probe, so heating gets slow or erratic. We test both, descale the boiler, and set up filtration to slow the buildup.
Group seals and gaskets. Worn group gaskets leak at the portafilter and cause channeling. We replace seals and gaskets and check the group for scale while we are in there.
Brew and steam solenoids. A scaled brew or steam solenoid leaves you with no shot or a dripping wand. We rebuild or replace the solenoids and clear the lines feeding them.
