Slayer in Alameda

Slayer commercial service.

We service Slayer Espresso machines for coffee bars on the Island, working Park Street and the Webster Street commercial strip in 94501, plus the newer roasters out toward Alameda Point and Bay Farm in 94502. These are plumbed, electronic machines, so the bay's hard water shows up fast in scale and flow problems.

From San Ramon it runs about 40 minutes over the bridge into Alameda.

$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. Repair parts are covered for 6 months; consumables are covered for 90 days.

What we repair on the bench.

Needle valve and actuator. Slayer's flow profiling lives in the brew needle valve. When the profile goes soft or the lever feels gritty, we rebuild the needle valve and actuator and reset the flow.
Group seals and gaskets. Hard Island water chews up group seals and portafilter gaskets. We replace worn seals so a 2 group stops leaking and locks up tight again.
Brew and steam solenoids. Scale sticks the brew and steam solenoids, giving you dribbling groups or a wand that won't shut. We clean or swap the solenoid and clear the lines.
Descaling and water filtration. Most Alameda failures trace back to water. We descale the boiler and lines and check the filtration so scale stops eating valves and the element.
