Danville's coffee runs through the Hartz Avenue shops downtown and the cafes tucked into the Town and Country and Blackhawk Plaza centers. The Slayer machines here tend to be single group and 2 group units in tight, busy independent rooms in 94526, with a few out toward the 94506 side. These are small-footprint bars where one dead machine stops service cold.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Single Group needle valve service. On a Slayer Single Group the needle valve does all the profiling work. When the ramp feels off or the lever binds, we clean or rebuild the valve and actuator.
Group seals and gaskets. A drip or a weak seal on the group head is the most common call on a busy small bar. We replace the group seals and gaskets so the portafilter locks tight.
Descaling and filtration. Plumbed-in machines build scale fast without the right filter. We descale the brew boiler and brew path and tune the water filtration for the local supply.
Control board diagnosis. When the machine acts erratic or won't power through its cycle, the control board is the suspect. We diagnose it, and source the board through Slayer when it needs replacing.
