Faema in San Jose

Faema commercial service.

San Jose's specialty scene runs from the SoFA district and downtown around 95125 out to the Willow Glen strip on Lincoln Avenue and the cafes near Almaden in 95120 and 95124. Plenty of these shops run Faema E61 and multi-boiler machines as their daily workhorse. We cover all three ZIPs.

From San Ramon it's roughly an hour down 680, longer at peak. We're an independent service shop, not Faema-authorized, and we put the quote in writing before any work starts.

$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. Repair parts are covered for 6 months; consumables are covered for 90 days.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Multi-boiler temperature drift. On Faema multi-boiler machines like the E71, a drifting brew temp usually points to a control board or a scaled probe. We read the controls, test the probe, and dial it back to spec.
E61 group rebuild. High-volume Willow Glen shops wear out E61 group gaskets and seals fast. We rebuild the group, replace the cam and shower screen if needed, and stop the channeling and leaks.
Boiler descaling and element. Plumbed machines in San Jose's hard water scale up. We descale the boiler, check and replace the heating element if it's drawing wrong, and recommend a filter to slow the next round.
Brew solenoid and pump. Weak shots or no flow trace to the brew solenoid or the rotary pump. We test pressure on both, rebuild the valve, and replace the pump if it's lost output.
