Blackhawk in 94506 is a gated community, and the commercial coffee here sits at the Blackhawk Plaza cafes and the bars along Crow Canyon Road. Low daily volume, but the machines are expected to be perfect and quiet, and the hard water out here scales a heat exchanger over time. Descaling and a clean line filter keep a Faema steady. We service these as an independent shop, not a factory-authorized dealer.

Blackhawk is close to base. From San Ramon it is about 10 to 15 minutes over Crow Canyon, so we can get a tech out fast and keep a Plaza cafe open through the morning.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Descaling and water filtration. Hard Blackhawk water scales the heat exchanger and boiler. We descale, check the line filter, and get steam recovery back so the machine keeps up.
E61 group seal service. Even at lower volume the E61 brew gasket dries and seeps. We rebuild the group on Legend and Jubile machines so the portafilter seats tight and the shot stays clean.
Steam solenoid and wand repair. A steam wand that drips or will not shut off is a stuck steam solenoid, usually scaled. We clean or replace the solenoid and clear the valve.
Control board and probe check. Display faults or odd fill behavior get tested at the board and the level probe. We rule out a scaled probe or loose connection before recommending a board.
