Faema in Concord

Faema commercial service.

Concord runs a busy independent coffee trade around Todos Santos Plaza and along Salvio Street in 94520, with more shops spread through the Willow Pass and Clayton Road corridors in 94518 and 94519. A lot of those counters pull shots on Faema heat-exchanger and multi-boiler machines, and Concord water carries enough hardness to scale a boiler if the line filter falls behind.

We are based in San Ramon, about 25 minutes up I-680 to downtown Concord.

$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. Repair parts are covered for 6 months; consumables are covered for 90 days.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

E61 group gasket and seal replacement. Faema invented the E61 brew group, and the group gasket and seals are the first thing to fail when a portafilter starts dripping or losing pressure. We replace the gasket and reseat the group on E61 Legend and Jubile machines.
Heat-exchanger and boiler descaling. Concord tap water scales heat-exchanger and boiler walls fast. We descale, check the heating element, and put the right water filtration on the plumbed line so it does not come back next month.
Brew and steam solenoid repair. A solenoid that sticks gives you no flow at the group or a steam wand that will not shut off. We test and replace the brew and steam solenoids on Faema heat-exchanger and multi-boiler builds.
Pump and level probe service. Weak pressure or a boiler that overfills usually traces to a tired pump or a scaled level probe. We rebuild or swap the pump and clean or replace the probe on Teorema and Emblema machines.
