Faema in Clayton
Faema commercial service.
For a Faema, the cheapest repair is the one planned ahead. Group gaskets and seals get replaced before they leak, the boiler gets descaled on a schedule instead of after a fault, and the filter cartridge changes before it is spent. Skip those and scale builds quietly until it takes out an element or a boiler in the middle of a shift.
Clayton gets its water from the Contra Costa Water District, drawn from the Delta, and we set the descaling interval from what we find inside your machine. Summers here are hot and dry, and a machine packed into a warm corner works its element and electronics harder. We collect from Dana Hills, Clayton Wood, Peacock Creek or anywhere else in town and service the machine on our bench.
$150–450 deposit depending on the model. It covers pickup, bench diagnosis and return, and is not credited toward the repair. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. 6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Seasonal group service. Once a season we replace the group gaskets and shower screens, clean the group, and check extraction pressure. That keeps shots consistent and stops small leaks before they soak the solenoids and wiring underneath.
- Scheduled descale of the boiler or heat exchanger. We descale the boiler or heat exchanger, flush the lines, and note how much scale came out. That amount, together with your volume, sets the next interval. If the cartridge on your inlet line is past its date, the ticket says so.
- Element and probe check during service. With the machine open we measure the heating element and clean the level probe. A weak element or a fouled probe caught during maintenance costs far less than one that fails during a rush.

FAQ
Faema in Clayton questions, answered.
-
How often should a Faema in Clayton come in for service?
It depends on how many drinks you pull and what your water leaves behind. After the first service we know both, and we suggest a schedule for gaskets, descaling and filter changes that fits your counter. -
Does hot summer weather affect our Faema?
Room heat adds load, and a machine tucked into a tight spot runs warmer. Leave space around the sides and top so it can shed heat. If the placement looks like a problem, we note it on the ticket. -
Are you a Faema dealer?
No. We service Faema as an independent repair shop, not a factory-authorized dealer. Every repair starts with a bench diagnosis and a written quote, and nothing is replaced until you approve it. Licensed California contractor, CSLB #1136642. -
What does the Faema pickup deposit cover?
$150–450 deposit depending on the model. It covers pickup, bench diagnosis and return, and is not credited toward the repair. -
How long does Faema bench repair take?
Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. -
What warranty applies to Faema coffee-machine repair?
6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
