Faema in Cupertino

Faema commercial service.

Cupertino's coffee trade clusters around the Main Street Cupertino development and the shops along Stevens Creek Boulevard in 95014, plus the cafes feeding the office crowd near the Apple campus. Volume runs high at these counters, and a Faema multi-boiler machine earns its keep only if the group seals and solenoids stay tight through a long morning rush.

From San Ramon we are roughly 45 minutes south on I-680 to Cupertino. We schedule South Bay runs tight so a shop pulling 400 shots a day is not waiting on a sticking solenoid or a cold boiler.

$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. Repair parts are covered for 6 months; consumables are covered for 90 days.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

  • Multi-boiler descaling and element check. High-volume Cupertino bars push a lot of water through their boilers. We descale the multi-boiler and heat-exchanger circuits, test the heating element, and dial in filtration so a busy machine holds temperature.
  • Brew and steam solenoid replacement. When the morning line is out the door, a stuck brew solenoid kills throughput. We test and replace brew and steam solenoids on Faema E71 and Teorema machines.
  • E61 group gasket and seal service. Faema designed the E61 group, and its gasket wears with heavy daily use. We replace the gasket and seals so the portafilter locks tight and holds brew pressure on E61 Legend and Jubile builds.
  • Control board and level probe repair. Erratic dosing or a boiler that will not stop filling points at the control board or a fouled level probe. We diagnose the board and clean or swap the probe on Emblema and multi-boiler machines.
