What we repair on the bench.

E61 group gasket and seal rebuild. Faema invented the E61 brew group, and the group gasket is the part that hardens and starts leaking around the portafilter. We pull the group, replace the gasket and shower screen seals, and reset the lever.
Brew and steam solenoid replacement. A solenoid that sticks gives you a group that will not stop dripping or a steam wand that dribbles. We test the coil and valve body on the E71 or Teorema and swap the failed solenoid.
Heat-exchanger descale and water filtration. Hard Peninsula water scales the heat exchanger and chokes flow. We descale the exchanger and boiler and set up or service the inline filter so it does not come back in six months.
Pump and level probe service. Low pressure at the group usually traces to a worn rotary pump or a scaled level probe misreading the boiler. We test pressure, rebuild or replace the pump, and clean or replace the probe.
