- Rangetop burner that sparks but will not light. The most common Saratoga call is a 5-Series rangetop that sparks but never catches, or one head staying cold while the others light. We clean the ports and caps, test the igniter and module, and re-seat everything before condemning parts. If a head still will not light we replace the igniter or the module, not the whole top.
- Wall oven that runs hot or bakes uneven. Viking wall ovens drift as the temperature sensor ages, so the oven overshoots or bakes hot on one side. We check the sensor resistance and the bake and broil elements, then recalibrate or replace whatever is actually off. This is where a lot of Saratoga holiday-kitchen complaints come from.
- Professional ventilation and sagging door hardware. On the professional hood we clear blower and switch faults, and on the range and refrigeration doors we deal with sagging hinges and gaskets that no longer seal. These are wear items on gear this heavy, and they are straightforward to rebuild in place.
