Viking in Los Gatos
Viking in Los Gatos kitchens.
Los Gatos climbs from the shops on Santa Cruz Avenue up into the foothills toward the Santa Cruz Mountains, with the Almond Grove Victorians on one side and larger custom homes on the ridges above town. Many of those hillside kitchens were built with full Viking suites, and built-in refrigeration columns show up here more than almost anywhere else I work in the South Bay.
The refrigeration is what I get called on most in Los Gatos. Built-in columns and paneled units run harder in the warmer foothill pockets, and the sealed systems inside them are less forgiving than a freestanding fridge. When one of these starts to warm up, people notice fast, because the whole point of a built-in column is that it disappears into the cabinetry and just works.
We are ADRIUM Service Solutions, an independent shop out of San Ramon, owned by Andrew Kuznetsov. We are EPA 608 certified, which matters for any sealed system work, and licensed under CSLB #1136642. The diagnostic is $75 and comes off the bill when you approve the repair. I give you a written quote before I open anything up.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Built-in refrigerator or freezer column running warm. This is the most common Viking call I get in Los Gatos. A column that drifts warm can mean a slow refrigerant leak in the sealed system, a failing compressor, or an evaporator iced over from a bad defrost cycle. Because this work involves refrigerant recovery, the EPA 608 certification is required, and I diagnose the full circuit before quoting so we are fixing the actual fault.
- Rangetop spark module firing continuously. A rangetop where the igniters keep clicking even after a burner lights usually has a shorted igniter or a spark module that is not sensing flame. Beyond the annoyance, it wears the module out. We isolate the burner that is holding the circuit and replace the igniter or module that is at fault.
- Wall oven temperature sensor drift. When a Viking oven starts over-browning or under-cooking for no clear reason, a temperature sensor that has drifted out of spec is a frequent cause. We test the sensor resistance against the reference values and replace it when the reading is off, then confirm the cavity holds steady across a full heat cycle.

FAQ
Viking in Los Gatos questions, answered.
-
How far is the drive from your San Ramon base to Los Gatos?
We head down I-680 to I-280, then cut over on Highway 85 near Saratoga, one of the towns next to you. Plan on about an hour depending on traffic. Los Gatos and the surrounding South Bay foothills are within our regular service range. -
Is a built-in column harder to repair than a normal refrigerator?
It takes more care. The sealed system is tighter, the panels are integrated into the cabinetry, and access is closer than on a freestanding unit. It is very repairable, but I would not rush it. That is part of why I diagnose the whole circuit before I quote a column. -
What do you charge to come out and look at it?
The diagnostic is $75. If you approve the repair, that amount is waived and applied to the job. You will have the written quote in hand before I start any work.
