Viking oven repair service. Igniter and burner replacement
Problem: The customer complained that the Viking oven was not heating properly. The burner would click but fail to ignite, and the oven took too long to reach the desired temperature.
Diagnostics: During inspection, our technician found that the igniter had weakened and was no longer producing enough current to open the gas valve. Additionally, the burner showed signs of corrosion, which affected the gas flow and flame distribution.
Solution: We replaced the faulty igniter and installed a new burner assembly compatible with the Viking model. After installation, we tested the ignition, gas pressure, and flame pattern to ensure proper heating and safe operation.
Result: The Viking oven lights on the first click and holds setpoint. Preheat is back to spec time and the burner flame pattern is even across the head.
