Retrofit fit and door alignment. A Viking range dropped into an opening built for an older 30 inch stove needs the door and hinge alignment checked as much as the burners. If the cabinet cutout is a little off, the door can bind or the seal can gap on one side. We true up the alignment so the door closes flush and the gasket seals the way it should.
Rangetop igniter and burner service. Foggy mornings leave a film of moisture on everything near the coast, and I've pulled Viking burner caps in Daly City kitchens with more corrosion on the igniter tip than the cooking would explain. We clean the electrodes, dry out the spark module connections, and replace an igniter that has pitted past the point of a clean spark.
Oven control board replacement. When a Viking wall oven's display goes blank or starts throwing random error codes, it is usually the control board losing its memory or a connector working loose behind the panel. We pull the board, test the wiring connections first since that's the cheaper fix, and replace the board itself only when the connections check out fine.
