In the older Redwood City kitchens, a Viking oven or fridge door that sags or won't latch has usually just seen a lot of open and close cycles over the years. We rebuild the hinge, replace worn springs, and square the door back up so it seals the way it did new.
- Range igniter and simmer burner service. A Viking burner that won't hold a low simmer and just jumps to a rough flame is a common call across Redwood City kitchens. We clean the burner ports and orifice, check the gas valve, and adjust it so the low end is actually usable for a simmer, not just an on-off flame.

Less than it used to. We now run a technician based on the Peninsula, in San Mateo County, so whether you're in Redwood Shores or up near Farm Hill, he's working from the same area, not driving in from San Ramon for every job. -
My condo's built-in fridge is paneled to match the cabinets. Does that complicate the repair?
Not really. We work with panel-ready units all the time in the Shores buildings. We pull the panel off carefully, do the repair, and refit it so it looks untouched. -
