- Built-in refrigerator running long in summer heat. We clean the condenser, test the condenser and evaporator fans, and measure the temperature split across the system. If the box only struggles on hot afternoons, airflow is the usual cause. If it struggles all day, we look deeper.
- Evaporator fan motor failed. When the evaporator fan stops, the freezer may still feel cold while the fresh-food side warms. We confirm the fan, clear any ice around it, replace the motor, and check the defrost circuit so the ice does not come back.
- Range oven door leaking heat. A worn hinge or stretched spring keeps a Viking oven door from sealing, and in a warm kitchen you feel the heat pouring out. We rebuild the hinge, replace the springs, and reset the door so the gasket seals flat.
