A WMF 1500S+ or 5000S+ set up for a household that entertains regularly pours a lot less volume than a downtown office, but it sits idle between gatherings and then gets asked to run through a full weekend of guests without complaint.

We drive in from San Ramon, 50 to 60 minutes down I-680 and over on 92 or 280 depending on the route. We're an independent shop, not a WMF authorized dealer. I service the bean-to-cup and super-automatic units that fit this kind of household, and I write a quote before anything gets opened up.

Brewer unit rebuild on a low-volume machine. A WMF machine that mostly sits idle between weekend use gums up at the brewer first. I strip the brew group, replace the worn seals and the piston where it's needed, and get the puck ejecting clean again.
Boiler descaling on a hillside water supply. Water out here can run harder than what a downtown espresso bar deals with, and it builds up in the boiler and heating element over time. I descale the boiler, flush the valves, and recommend a filter cartridge so the scale problem doesn't just come back in six months.
Dynamic Milk module service. A household that entertains means a burst of lattes and cappuccinos in a short window, not a steady trickle all day. I pull the milk module, clear the lines and the air valve, and rebuild it so the foam stays consistent through a full run of guests.
Grinder burr replacement. Dull burrs throw off the dose and slow the pour on a WMF grinder. I swap the burr set, reset the grind, and dial the machine back to the factory spec.
