WMF in Alameda

WMF commercial service.

Park Street and Webster Street carry most of Alameda's coffee traffic, and a fair number of those storefronts and back-office break rooms run a WMF super-automatic instead of a manual setup. We cover both retail corridors and the businesses out toward Marina Village in 94501, plus the Bay Farm side in 94502.

Alameda is about 35 minutes from our San Ramon shop, longer if the Tube or the bridges back up.

$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. Repair parts are covered for 6 months; consumables are covered for 90 days.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Brewer unit rebuild. The brewer is the part that takes the abuse on a 1500S+ or 5000S+. We pull it, clean the seals and pistons, and replace what's worn so pucks eject clean instead of jamming.
Grinder burr replacement. Dull burrs make a WMF grind slow and pour weak. We swap the burrs and reset the grind so dose and shot time come back to spec.
Milk module service. Dynamic Milk and Easy modules clog when milk lines aren't flushed. We strip the module, clear the valves, and rebuild it so foam comes back instead of warm splatter.
Boiler descaling on the water line. Alameda tap leaves scale in the boiler and heater. We descale the system and check your inline filter so the machine holds temperature and the pump stops straining.
