El Sobrante's commercial center runs along San Pablo Dam Road between El Portal and Appian Way. A WMF 2000 S or 1500S+ there makes every drink from beans at the press of a button, so the grinder, the brewer, the milk system and the water side all have to work for one cup to come out right.

When one of those stages falters, we find out which before we quote. We collect the machine and run it on our bench through every drink on your menu, watching dose, brew pressure, milk and temperature. Water here is EBMUD, soft to moderate, so scale builds slowly, but the Easy milk module and the brewer seals still wear with every cup.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Easy milk module clogged or foaming poorly. The Easy module is simple, but dried milk in its small passages ruins the foam. We strip it, clean each passage, replace the seals and test the foam on the bench.
Grounds or brewer message that will not clear. If the machine stops with a grounds or brewer message even after the bin is emptied, the brewer may not be reaching its end position or a sensor may be misreading. We check the brewer drive and the sensors and fix the one at fault.
Temperature falling on back-to-back drinks. Drinks that start hot and cool off down the line point to a weak heater, a failing sensor or scale in the heater. We test the heater and sensor, descale if needed, and check the temperature across a run of drinks.
