Boards, displays, and pump assemblies aren't truck stock, those come in from the supplier, typically within a day or two. We're not a WMF authorized center. WMF in Albany

Solano Avenue is where Albany's coffee volume runs, a dense strip of cafes and bakeries shared with North Berkeley, with more storefronts where San Pablo Avenue crosses it. WMF super-automatics show up in the higher-throughput shops here, machines that need to run all morning without falling behind in a tight footprint.

Albany is about 40 to 45 minutes from our San Ramon shop, usually Highway 24 to I-80 or up I-580. A 5000S+ or 9000S+ pulling steady cup volume through a Solano Avenue morning wears down fast, so we keep common WMF parts on the van, and we route Albany with our Berkeley and Richmond stops.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

High-volume brewer rebuild. Running hundreds of cups a day through a 5000S+ or 9000S+ takes a toll on the brewer group. We rebuild it with fresh seals and pistons so it keeps up with a Solano Avenue rush.
Grinder burr replacement. Burrs wear down fast under the kind of daily volume these shops run. We fit new ones and dial the grind back in so dose and extraction stay consistent for the whole shift.
Dynamic Milk module overhaul. Milk modules take the most abuse in a busy shop. We take the Dynamic Milk unit apart, clear or swap the valves, and put the milk path back together so texture and pressure come out correct.
Boiler descaling and water filtration. Albany water and steady throughput pile scale into the boiler quick. We run a descale, check the inline filter and swap it if it's undersized, and get ahead of early heater and pump failure.
